Interpretation
An exploded axonometric separates the idea into layers: a domed rooflight, lattice roof shells, their ribbed structure and a timber platform, all above an existing masonry building.
Assembled, slender ribs carry the vault over the old walls, and a circular rooflight brings daylight down to a platform for gathering.
Visualizations
Alternative interpretation, a portrait view toward the rooflight.
The original
The exploded axonometric is the original study. The visualizations are new spatial interpretations of its roof and courtyard idea, not reconstructions of the drawing.
